Constructional Block Bottle

Back in the Seventies we came up with a novel construction toy, Block Bottle, which was supposed to be marketed as a soft drink plastic container that after being used would become a large construction block, due to its special design. This would drive kids to purchase more and more drinks and blocks of the same brand. Bottled Mineral water was not yet as popular as it is today, and environmental awareness was not as high, so probably Block Bottle was ahead of its time. Years passed. While reading through the amazing book, 1000 Extra/Ordinary Objects (Taschen) we were pleased to see on page #92 a picture of a similar product, a bottle named EMIUM by Mirta Fasci and Luis Pittau from Argentina.
